Energy Levels in Pb 206 from the Decay of Bi 206

摘要: The energies, spins, and parities of 10 excited states in ${\mathrm{Pb}}^{206}$ the probable two additional have been established by studies 6.4-day ${\mathrm{Bi}}^{206}$ decay. experiments include---intensity precision energy measurements on conversion lines a double-focusing spectrometer; coincidences between pairs $K$-conversion two-lens "spectrogoniometer"; gamma rays electrons modified intermediate-image discovery 145\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}15 microsecond isomeric state decaying either $E3$ transitions; examination low-energy spectrum; relative intensity with scintillation spectrometer. adopted decay scheme contains 28 observed transitions satisfies all conditions imposed coincidence measurements. A few very weak are unassigned. It is shown from theoretical analysis based shell model that levels agreement approximate calculations. Eleven half-life 14 days assigned to ${\mathrm{Bi}}^{205}$.
