摘要: Psychophysical experiments show that adaptation induced tilt aftereffect gets modulated under controlled conditions of attention. The underlying neurophysiological mechanisms are unknown. Here using a population model primary visual cortex having detailed intrinsic and synaptic we orientation the effect We report increased attention to adapting stimulus reduces magnitude by modulating feedforward intracortical efficacies. Without for modulation, alertness tends increase via modulation membrane mechanisms. Our is first relate multiple acetylcholine-induced modulations conductances aftereffects. also opposes plasticity, reducing repulsive shift preferences.
