摘要: RECENT theoretical investigations1 of high-energy nucleon–nucleon scattering have involved the use non-central forces in description interactions between nucleons and consequently predicted neutron proton polarization. Experimental evidence for polarization was first obtained by Oxley et al. 2 at 240 MeV., preliminary results from Harwell 133 Chicago 337 MeV. Berkeley 300 were reported Rochester nuclear physics conference3. Neutron effects are much smaller than under all experimental conditions investigated to date3.
