摘要: In our recent review of the ecological roles sharks on coral reefs [1], we concluded that evidence to support hypothesised shark-driven trophic cascades was weak and equivocal. their response review, Ruppert et al. [2] assert a major issue with approach primarily reviewed from correlative observational studies reach this conclusion. This is incorrect, because conclusion based upon multiple lines evidence, including studies, food-web models, dietary stable isotope analysis, position, habitat use, behavioural [1].
