摘要: Reproduction in the female brown bear (Ursus arctos) was studied by gross examination of 96 reproductive tracts, including 16 from known-age animals, obtained Kodiak Island and Alaska Peninsula during 1959-1965. Additional data were incidental to livetrapping 165 bears aerial surveys made within same period. Gross features tracts indicated females attained sexual maturity when 3 6 years age commonly fourth year life.
