摘要: Echovirus 9 meningoencephalitis in 196 children was confirmed by the isolation of virus from cerebrospinal fluid each patient. Although illness usually mild, one patient died. The (CSF) leukocyte counts were unusually high some patients, and CSF protein content over 100 mg/100 cc nine patients. glucose all specimens normal. recovered 57% patients with a clinical diagnosis aseptic who studied between May 19, 1968, Sept 30, 1968. In had multiple sites available for culture, 76 yielded echovirus or more sites, these 66 (87%) specimen.
