摘要: This paper Is concerned with the location of zinc in MFI zinco-silicates. Zeolites having structure type have been synthesised as silica polymorphs and presence and/ or aluminium treated to give hydrogen forms. Non-framework species dehydrogenate n-hexane thereby reducing activation energy for cracking over zinco-silicates cf. aluminosilicates. Weak acid sites associated framework catalyse alkylation toluene methanol. However, rate xylene isomerisation is slow zincosilicates moderately high selectivities ortho- para-xylene are observed.
