摘要: Myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSC) contribute to immune dysfunctions induced by tumors both in experimental models and patients. In mice, MDSC are phenotypically heterogeneous that vary their surface markers, likely depending on soluble factors produced different tumors. We recently described a subset of inflammatory monocytes with immunosuppressive properties can be found within the tumor mass, blood, lymphoid organs tumor-bearing mice. These expressed α-chain receptor for IL-4 (IL4Rα) was critical negative activity CD8 + T cells. cancer patients, nature is still poorly defined because evidence exists monocytic granulocytic features. show this study myeloid accumulate mononuclear polymorphonuclear fractions circulating blood leukocytes patients colon melanoma, thus unveiling generalized alteration homeostasis compartment. Similarly mouse MDSC, IL4Rα up-regulated populations but its presence correlates an phenotype only when cells, not granulocytes, considered.
