摘要: Carrot (Daucus carota L.) is of importance in the molecular farming field as it constitutes first plant species approved to produce biopharmaceuticals for human use. In this review, features that make carrot an advantageous are analyzed and a description developments achieved with crop thus far presented. A guide genetic transformation procedures also included.
