摘要: Poor sleep health is associated with numerous concerns, and problems are exacerbated by cigarette smoking. Although rates of traditional tobacco use declining, electronic (e-cigarette) comparatively high growing. Given that nicotine a primary mechanism which smoking negatively impacts health, e-cigarette may also be linked to poor health; however, no research has investigated this association. Participants were 1,664 college students, 40.9% whom reported ever trying or currently using an e-cigarette. Questionnaires assessed demographic information, status patterns. All measures completed remotely via secure online survey. Analysis covariance was used compare the daily/non-daily users (a) non-users (b) combustible cigarettes. Gender drinks per week included as covariates in analyses. Current significantly more difficulties than never users. Users e-cigarettes greater medication Similar smoking, (vs. non-use) worse even among non-daily These findings indicate need for assessment education on role individuals who report experimentation current e-cigarettes. Future should examine these relationships prospectively.
