摘要: Man-made or natural disasters are occurring more frequently in the United States and around world. It is important that all nurses specialties be prepared to care for people affected by disasters. This article reports a descriptive study sought explore nursing students' perceptions about disaster use findings suggest recommendations building discipline of nursing. Results this indicate students had following gaps knowledge regarding nursing: (1) an incomplete definition nursing; (2) lack recognition importance knowing community resources, having mock drills, utilizing planning models; (3) perception could play significant role situations. The authors recommend taught faculty as specialty programs.
