摘要: Farm fields have numerous areas that differ from one another with respect to soil type, topography, microclimate, and other factors influence crop yields. Crop response a particular input may across these within field. Furthermore, differences in inherent properties field result non-uniform temporal variation yield stochastic events such as weather, disease, insect pressure, weed pressure. Thus, spatial production risk could occur yield-limiting interact (Nielsen 2001). With the availability of so-called “precision farming” technologies (also referred variable-rate, prescription, site-specific, or soil-specific farming), cost gathering information about within-field variability has decreased, making it possible for farmers consider using site-specific management practices (Lowenberg-DeBoer Swinton 1997). Farmers can now gather farm make choices applying inputs variable rate technology. potential precision farming tool is allowing more better gaining increased control over 1999).
