摘要: OBJECTIVE To determine the long-term outcome of patients after surgical repair for pulmonary valve stenosis (PVS). PATIENTS AND METHODS Fifty-three (30 males; mean ± SD age, 10±13 years; range, 5 days to 50 years) were identified who had treatment PVS between 1951 and 1982. The status each patient was determined by medical record review. RESULTS age at follow-up 43±15 years (age 19-77 years). Mean 33 (range, 18-51 At a median 34 years, 35 reinterventions been performed in 28 (53%), including replacement free regurgitation 21 (mean interval initial surgery, 14-45 years), open valvotomy balloon valvuloplasty 3 residual PVS, closure atrial septal defect 2, right ventricular outflow tract reconstruction 1, iatrogenic ligation aortopulmonary fistula tricuspid annuloplasty with simultaneous coronary artery bypass grafting 1. In addition, arrhythmias common, occurring 20 (38%). Patients underwent reintervention more likely have undergone closed as ( P =.008). CONCLUSION Although overall survival isolated remains excellent, many undergo late 30 follow-up, emphasizing need lifelong cardiac follow-up.
