摘要: Street dust is widely recognized as one of the major non-point sources heavy metal pollution and represents an important pathway for human exposure. Concentrations metals in 41 samples street from six municipalities’ sampled zones on Monterrey Metropolitan Area Nuevo Leon, Mexico, were evaluated. The results concentrations downtown, eastern, southern southeast follow order lead > zinc > cadmium with only at downtown east not detecting presence cadmium collected. For other zones, was zinc > lead > cadmium. zone characterized by its commercial activity vehicular traffic, reaching values 1590 mg kg−1 lead per each 0.450 m2 averaged collected sample representative area 25 m2. non-impacted showed 7.36 mg kg−1, 0.25 mg kg−1 zinc 70.5 mg kg−1. Based these values, ecological risk indexes are within moderate to extremely high range all except southwest. potential index shows that present a pollutant points contributes greatly very observed Area.
