摘要: The adsorption of two metal ions, Cr(III) and Cu(II), in single-component binary systems by Sargassum sp., a brown alga, was studied. Equilibrium batch sorption studies were carried out at 30oC pH 3.5. Kinetic tests done for mixture (chromium + copper) contact time 72 hours to guarantee that equilibrium reached. monocomponent data obtained analyzed using the Langmuir Freundlich isotherms. described four Langmuir-type F-test showed statistically significant fit all isotherm models. parameters isotherms used determine affinity one biosorbent presence another metal. chromium ion greater sp. than copper ion.
