摘要: Background : Serpins are a superfamily of serine peptidase inhibitors that participate in the regulation many physiological and cell peptidase-mediated processes all organisms (e.g. blood clotting, complement activation, fibrinolysis, inflammation, programmed death). It was postulated blood-feeding members monogenean family Diplozoidae, serpins could play an important role prevention thrombus formation, activation complement, inflammation host, and/or endogenous protein degradation. Results In silico analysis showed DNA primary structures serpin from Eudiplozoon nipponicum (EnSerp1) similar to other superfamily. The inhibitory potential EnSerp1 on four physiologically-relevant peptidases (trypsin, factor Xa, kallikrein, plasmin) demonstrated its presence worm’s excretory-secretory products (ESPs) confirmed. Conclusion influences activity coagulation, activation. This potential, together with serpin’s ESPs, suggests it is likely involved host-parasite interactions be one molecules control feeding inflammatory responses.
