摘要: Among tick-borne diseases, Ehrlichia canis and Babesia piroplasm cause important diseases in dogs where the distributions of pathogen, vector host overlap. The primary aim present study was to detect prevalence spp. E. using PCR reverse line blot (RLB) hybridization assay a total 379 samples comprising stray owned compare diagnostic sensitivity two tests. Overall, 41.4% were infected with B. vogeli and/or as single (35.4%) mixed (6.1%) infections. majority positive (74.1%) co-infected canis. detected higher (P= 0.000) number positivity some provinces compared RLB. To best our knowledge, these findings provide first molecular evidence for existence Aegean Region, Turkey. pinpoints distribution region Turkey 2004 such establishes baseline. This is pivotal importance future studies aimed demonstrate changes dynamics infections region.
