摘要: A specially designed annular diffusion denuder for simultaneous removal of organic gaseous compounds and atmospheric oxidants in carbonaceous aerosol sampling is presented. Various kinds coatings were compared with respect to the collection efficiency both NO(2) ozone. The optimum sorbent a mixture activated charcoal sulfite on molecular sieve. To ensure high over long-term field operation, two denuders are combined series. first half filled Na(2)SO(3) sieve (23 cm long layer) while second whole (the total length section 67 cm). At flow rate 16.6 L min(-1), better than 95%. Only small losses particles (<3.6% number concentration) observed size range 0.12-2.26 μm. compatible aerosols 47-mm diameter quartz fiber filters at min(-1). use this enables one sample without positive artefacts from volatile interferences oxidants. has been applied successfully during campaigns typically 1 month each urban forested sites Europe.
