摘要: Over several decades, advances in electronics miniaturization have been the engine for cost and performance gains both military commercial systems. More recently, breakthroughs silicon-based technologies accelerated shift towards CMOS system-on-chip (SoC) solutions, combining complex radio-frequency (RF), analog digital functionality. These advances, along with introduction of newer generations communication systems unprecedented surge demand high data rates, motivated search a purely solution all radio standards. This, turn, coexistence software revolution has called programmability through to implement (SR). The concept SR was introduced late 1990s as successor (DR). It referred transceiver where antenna signal is sampled directly by an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) receive path coupled digital-toanalog (DAC) transmit path.
