摘要: This study presents a first assessment of the Top-Of-Atmosphere (TOA) radiances measured in visible and near-infrared (VNIR) wavelengths from PRISMA (PRecursore IperSpettrale della Missione Applicativa), new hyperspectral satellite sensor Italian Space Agency orbit since March 2019. In particular, radiometrically calibrated Level 1 TOA were compared to simulated with radiative transfer code, starting situ measurements water reflectance. data obtained set fixed position autonomous radiometers covering wide range types, encompassing coastal inland waters. A total nine match-ups between distributed July 2019 June 2020 analysed. Recognising role Sentinel-2 for waters applications, concurrent observations added comparison. The results overall demonstrated that VNIR is providing same magnitude shape those (spectral angle difference, SA, 0.80 3.39; root mean square RMSD, 0.98 4.76 [mW m-2 sr-1 nm-1]), slightly larger differences at shorter wavelengths. also found very similar (RMSD < 3.78 encourage synergic use both sensors aquatic applications. Further analyses higher number PRISMA, are however recommended fully characterize on-orbit calibration its exploitation ecosystem mapping.
