摘要: Abstract Oxygen utilization in the bottom waters of Dabob Bay, Washington, was measured by time course oxygen and compared to metabolic activity net zooplankton microplankton. Neither fraction plankton could be neglected as unimportant together they accounted for 70–85% consumption bay. The rate summer 1973 1.25 μg-at O day −1 1 − , 12% higher than 19 years earlier. At this rate, deep (bottom 50 m) were responsible oxidation 36% bay's primary productivity.
