摘要: Abstract An energy dispersive X-ray microdiffractometer with capillary optics has been developed for characterizing breast cancer. The employment of low divergence helps to reduce the setup size a few centimeters, while providing lateral spatial resolution 100 µm. system angular calibration and momentum transfer were assessed by detailed study polycrystalline reference material. performance was tested means analysis tissue-equivalent samples previously characterized conventional diffraction. In addition, simplified correction model an appropriate comparison diffraction spectra validated. Finally, employed evaluate normal neoplastic human samples, in order determine their scatter signatures. initial results indicate that use this compact combined procedure is able provide additional information cancer diagnosis.
