摘要: Recently a novel C825T polymorphism in the G protein beta3 subunit gene was identified that showed an association with hypertension German population; results of studies other populations have been inconsistent. To examine contribution GNB3 polymorphisms to development northern Chinese Han population, we conducted case-control study consisting 501 hypertensive cases and 503 controls using G(-350)A, C1429T polymorphisms. Genotypes samples were determined by PCR restriction digestion. Single locus analysis significant between G(-350)A (P = 0.01) but no for or C1429T. The three tight linkage disequilibrium (D'=-1 G(-350)A-C825T, D'= 0.92 C825T-C1429T) total 7 haplotypes observed entire population. Haplotype A-C-C found be significantly related 0.032) carriers had more than two-fold higher risk non-carriers, after adjustment BMI glucose. In conclusion, our suggests is potential functional may hypertension, whereas are not associated
