摘要: The antianginal effects of bepridil, a new calcium entry blocker, were evaluated in 20 patients with chronic stable angina single-blind trial that was placebo-controlled within patients. Of the patients, 13 also underwent rest and exercise gated blood pool scintigraphy to assess agent on left ventricular (LV) performance. Mean anginal frequency significantly reduced, from 7.3 3.1 episodes/week (p < 0.01). Total work performed increased 410 581 kpm 0.005), time 5.3 6.6 minutes 0.005). Supine resting LV enddiastolic volume index, end-systolic stroke cardiac index ejection fraction (EF) not altered by bepridil. During supine exercise, EF decreased 60 55 % during placebo therapy. Despite an increase total work, mean 62 0.05 vs placebo) bepridil Maximal greater Exercise resulted or wall motion abnormalities 7 therapy, only 4 noted despite performed. Thus, is effective agent. drug allows load preserves
