摘要: A total number of 526 Squalus blainvillei was sampled from the bottom trawl and longline catches in eastern Mediterranean Sea December 2004 to 2009. Females outnumbered males overall sex ratio 1.26:1. ranged 182 779 mm length 180 799 mm. Both females showed allometric growth (b > 3) we found statistically significant differences relationship between weight. Out specimens examined, 36% 63% were sexually mature. Males reached sexual maturity at smaller sizes than females. The smallest mature female 523 length, while male 425 length. Mean 50% estimated 564.4 for 457.7 males. Sexually both sexes with gonads high GSI present proportions every season year, which indicates a continuous reproductive cycle. Ovarian oocytes continued develop throughout gestation. carrying near-term embryos had large, equally developed ovarian oocytes, suggests that they ovulate soon after parturition. fecundity 1 7 uterine 6. Embryo yolk sac weight negatively correlated.
