摘要: Wastewater is not a liability, instead considered as resource for microbial fermentation and value-added products. Most of the wastewater contains various nutrients like nitrates phosphates apart from organic constituents that favor growth. Microalgae are unicellular aquatic organ-isms widely used treatment. Various cultivation methods such open, closed, integrated have been reported microalgal to treat recovery simultaneously. Microalgal growth affected by factors sunlight, tempera-ture, pH, affect rate microalgae. can consume urea, phos-phates, metals magnesium, zinc, lead, cadmium, arsenic, etc. their reduces biochemical oxygen demand (BOD). The biomass produced during treatment be further produce carbon-neutral products biofuel, feed, bio-fertilizer, bioplastic, exopolysaccharides. Integration with bio-refinery only solves problem but also generates revenue supports sustaina-ble circular bio-economy. present review will highlight current advanced integrate microalgae complete reclamation industrial sources utilization compound production. Furthermore, pertaining challeng-es briefly discussed along techno-economic analysis pilot-scale projects worldwide.
