摘要: Background To develop a method, using current clinical instrumentation, to estimate the Young's modulus of human cornea in vivo. Methods Central corneal curvature (CCC), central thickness(CCT), intraocular pressure (IOP) was measured with Goldmann tonometer (IOPG) and Pascal Dynamic Corneal Tonometer(PDCT) one eye 100 normal young subjects (21.07 ± 2.94 years) The Orssengo Pye algorithm used calculate corneas these subjects. Results modulus(E) PDCT IOPG results (Ecalc) 0.25 0.10MPa, without (Eiopg) 0.29 0.06MPa. difference is due tonometry between two instruments, as mean result for 16.89 2.49mmHg 15.06 2.71mmHg. E affected by CCC but more particularly CCT IOP measurements. stiffness are also presented. Conclusion Two methods have been developed vivo instrumentation. One method applicable general condition, Eiopg cornea, can be stiffness.
