摘要: The impact of microwave digestion, hot injection solutions and chemical modification on the analysis biological samples by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) has been assessed. stabilizing effects palladium ruthenium modifiers were compared. Although a higher atom appearance temperature, was more useful modifier when other than water analysed. When 2 μg (as PdCl2) preconditioned in hydrogen at 500°C, volatile elements retained char temperatures up to 1000–1100°C. This allowed similar atomizer programmes be used for Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn Pb accurate determination these analytes reference materials achieved aqueous standards. Rapid drying 120°C reduced programme time just over 1 min. A combination 40% (w/v) HNO3 Pd produced rapid sensitive method Cd sub-μg g−1 levels vegetable protein foodstuffs. Palladium also proved simultaneous multi-element continuum source AAS. picogram detection limits obtained Cr, line AAS values recorded with same compromise programme. Accurate Mn, Mo NIST SRM 1566 Oyster Tissue indicated potential determinations. advantages modifications illustrated furnace non-thermal excitation (FANES) hollow-cathode discharge. maximum Ag, Ga, Hg, Pb, Sb Se increased 300–600°C presence Pd, although factor two poorer.
