摘要: In brief: Two related studies were conducted to determine whether fast walking is intense enough elicit a training heart rate (THR), which defined as ≥ 70% of maximal rate. one study, 343 subjects (165 men, 178 women) walked mile possible. Ninety-one percent all the women and 83% men aged 50 older reached THR. second ten with high V o2 max values instructed achieve maintain THR provided visual feedback their (HR) during 30-minute walk. These maintained for an average 25 minutes Thus, it seems that may indeed offer adequate aerobic stimulus most adults.
