摘要: Abstract An improved model for simulating vapor emissions from a multicomponent liquid spill (LSM90) has been developed incorporating three mechanisms transfer to the gas phase: (i) flashing liquid, (ii) entrainment as aerosol, and (iii) pool evaporation. The simulation accounts both heat mass effects. Flexibility is given in describing site configuration chemical release composition. Several im- provements provide more representative simulation. Pools spread naturally within diked area. also checked repeatedly determine whether vaporization by evaporation or boiling mechanism. Aerosol formation rates are calculated using new AIChE CCPS RELEASE model. DIPPR database incorporated give access physical properties of numerous materials. underwent full prog- ram validation. A test plan over 90 cases was designed check: (1) trends model's behavior variations input data, (2) accuracy results when compared experimental data. Single component land were against reported Kawamura, MacKay Matsugu. tested two sets liquified natural (LNG) spills on water: Matagorda Bay Burro Series.
