摘要: The ultrasonic atomisation mechanism involves the formation of regular waves on liquid surface which will breakup into droplets when resonance is reached. Spray characteristics are closely related to this wave structure developed just before atomisation. An experimental study has been undertaken in order measure free wavelength. results compared with values predicted by linear stability analysis. influence several parameters (liquid properties, frequency) wavelength analysed. Finally relationship between and spray mean droplet diameter investigated.
