摘要: This study demonstrates the attenuation of aminoglycoside ototoxicity by cochlear infusion dexamethasone (Dex) using a microcannulation-osmotic pump delivery system. The results indicate that treating cochlea with Dex both before and after kanamycin administration was more effective in preventing than treatment only administration. A concentration 1 ng/ml showed greatest protective effect on kanamycin-induced threshold shift auditory brainstem response outer hair cell survival. These show attenuates functional structural damage inner ear from toxicity.
