hybridlab (version 1.0): a program for generating simulated hybrids from population samples

摘要: We present the computer program HYBRIDLAB 1.0 for simulating intraspecific hybrids from population samples of nuclear genetic markers such as microsatellites, allozymes or SNPs ( single nucleotide polymorphisms). The generates a user-specified number multilocus F1 hybrid genotypes between any pair potentially hybridizing populations included in standard input-file analysis. This simple, user-friendly has wide range applications studying natural and artificial hybridization; particular, evaluating statistical power individual assignment parental individuals. An example application Atlantic cod is given.
