摘要: In this article, I describe an integrative approach to couple therapy developed with Andrew Christensen. After summarizing the empirical findings which justify need for clinical innovation, basic principles underlying new integration are delineated. The dimension of Behavioral Couple Therapy is addition strategies promote “acceptance partner”; acceptance work balances traditional behavioral emphasis on “change” in form accommodation, compromise and collaboration. outlining promoting acceptance, interpret from a perspective, explain why it not useful conceptualize cognitive perspective. Finally, place focus within broader context, as growing vital movement behavior therapy.
