摘要: In the modern knowledge-based economy, industry is increasingly seeking to forge alliances with universities generate innovative products and practices that may provide them a competitive advantage. Simultaneously, are retain their relevance as predominant providers of new knowledge, many companies across range industries actively pursue own research development agenda, thus generating greater proportion all created intellectual capital than previously. There growing acceptance more widespread project linkages between companies; traditional training programs such PhD not immune this changing landscape. Whilst partnered projects can potentially have benefits concerned parties, particularly student, current approaches support mechanisms far from ideal, presenting impediments be overcome through effective management functions. an attempt mitigate leverage processes outcomes, achievable arrangement, study explored coping strategies associated form both reported literature well series interviews candidates academic supervisors. The exploratory led priority list mapped most appropriate them. Moreover, mapping exercise structured procedure guide projects, which aims various challenges style arrangement whilst leveraging its benefits.
