摘要: Abstract A sample of GdPO4 nanorods (NRs) with average diameter about 20 nm and length 150 nm has been prepared by a hydrothermal method. The analyses the XRD pattern transmission electron microscopy images have proved that NRs are single crystals hexagonal structure. variations magnetization versus temperature magnetic field confirmed ordering at low temperatures. assessment magnetocaloric effect from isotherms, M(H), in range T = 2 – 25 K revealed strong increase entropy change (|ΔSm|) below T = 15 K increasing H. reaches maximum ( | Δ S m max ) temperatures 2.7 K, around ferromagnetic–paramagnetic transition. It found relative cooling power (RCP) refrigerant (RC) H broadened linewidth |ΔSm(T)| curve. At H = 60 kOe, values RCP (or RC) 56.2 J/kg⋅K 415.9 (296.5) J/kg, respectively. Our also inferred exhibit short-range order coexisting ferromagnetic antiferromagnetic interactions.
