摘要: Community structure of edaphic cunaxids (Acarina) from a lowland dry forest in Chamela, Mexico. The community mites was studied at tropical the Chamela Biological Station, Jalisco, Monthly samples litter and soil were taken during one year (July 1991-May 1992), two small watersheds. A total 43 species recorded. We their abundance, frequency (F), rareness relative abundance (Ar), density (ind m -2 ), richness (S), Shannon's diversity index (H'), Pielou's evenness (J'). similar (38 species), but composi- tion different. higher found soil, with 5 074 ind ; 2 199 . subfamilies highest both biotopes Coleoscirinae (H=1 127 S=2 235 ) Cunaxiinae (H=887 S = 1 936 ). genus Pulaeus had most species, all new to science.
