摘要: Prompt therapeutic-level anticoagulation is the cornerstone of treatment for venous thromboembolism (VTE). Options in VTE include unfractionated heparin, low-molecular-weight fondaparinux, argatroban, bivalirudin, warfarin, and non-vitamin K oral anticoagulants (NOACs) rivaroxaban, dabigatran, apixaban, edoxaban. The NOACs represent a major advance with superior safety equivalent efficacy compared warfarin.
