摘要: An accurate free-surface boundary condition is important for solving a wide variety of seismic modeling problems. In particular, earthquake site studies or shallow environmental investigations the surface earth may have significant impact on outcome simulations. Computations based several elastic/viscoelastic flat horizontal conditions are compared and benchmarked against an analytical solution. simple found then generalized to allow irregular free surfaces. This new method implement in conventional staggered finite-difference schemes, computationally efficient enables highly topography. The accuracy investigated criteria sampling wavefield derived.
