摘要: A major reason chemotherapy fails in cancer treatment is drug resistance. New targets against resistance have been developed with the identification of molecular pathways These are proteins that highly expressed human gliomas and known to be tumor antigens. The immune system produces specialized white blood cells called dendritic (DCs). DCs most potent antigen-presenting cell system. demonstrated ability stimulate antibodies cell-mediated responses Immunotherapy has emerged as a novel strategy for antigens serving driving force. Clinical immunotherapy trials glioma patients using vaccinations made combined ex vivo shown promising results. DC may increase sensitivity chemotherapy, by significant 2-year survival rates malignant who received after (51). use can rationalized strategy. Hence, this review will focus on recent advances tumor-associated gliomas, well their biological function related current research status future direction vaccines treat animal models clinical also discussed.
