摘要: Abstract Three alkali lignin samples (one from sugar cane bagasse and two wheat straw), were compared in terms of structure reactivity when incorporated within a starch matrix submitted to electron beam irradiation. Films with 60/40 ratio as well control films made pure prepared by casting technique an aqueous medium. With the objective cross-link polymers, treated radiation doses 200 400 kGy. The influence irradiation on was investigated at molecular level using spectroscopic chromatographic techniques. Infrared spectra native irradiated showed that intensity structural modifications induced treatment both dependent dose sample. Two showing opposite behavior selected for further investigation gas chromatography–mass spectrometry GC–MS determination low-molecular-weight phenolics. These analyses provided some evidences condensation/oligomerization reactions occurred more reactive system (starch/bagasse lignin) subjected these probably mediated ferulic acid. This study highlights lignins potential irradiations increase starch/lignin compatibility.
