摘要: Introduction: Proper preparation of the individual is a key prerequisite for ensuring quality laboratory testing. Our hypothesis was that many outpatients are not sufficiently familiar with correct way preparing tests, which needs to be at fasting. This study aimed investigate: i) whether patients aware how they need prepare properly tests; ii) in users informed about testing; and iii) arrive phlebotomy prepared. Materials methods: An anonymous questionnaire conducted on 150 older than 18 years, during February 2013. The response rate 11%. All were interviewed by staff. Patients detail agreed partici pate survey. Results: Out total number subjects, 39% fully proper definition fasting, whereas even 46% subjects replied last meal has taken day before exact time must pass after blood sampling important. Furthermore, 52% did receive any information themselves Only 60% them came prepared Conclusions: Substantial proportion do come We conclude well fasting requirements Moreover, requesting physician preferred source from learn phlebotomy.
