摘要: Abstract Two-phase equilibria between the ferromagnetic fcc and paramagnetic phase from 800 to 900 °C in Co-rich region was determined using diffusion couple technique. It confirmed that a magnetically-induced miscibility gap of is formed along Curie temperature. Thermodynamic calculation Co–Cr system performed by optimizing present results thermodynamic data literature. A set values for describing Gibbs energy liquid, hcp, bcc sigma phases yielded good agreement calculated diagram experimental data. Moreover, hcp also predicted. This kind base alloys quite useful alloy design magnetic recording media.
