摘要: Dirac's method for variations of a brane embedded in co-dimension one is demonstrated. The variation the location invokes rest frame formulation 'sandwiched' action. We first demonstrate necessity this by re-deriving Snell's law. Second, we apply to general N-dimensional bulk presence gravity. re-derive equations: (i) Israel junction condition, (ii) energy/momentum conservation on and (iii) geodetic-type equation brane.
