摘要: The purpose of this study was to examine the current and potential uses information communications technology (ICT) in provision cancer care services. Specifically, it reviewed use delivery Canada, outlined issues related diffusion adoption ICT examined for expanding existing emerging ICT. -- used both qualitative quantitative methods including a Canada wide survey key informant interviews with health professionals working service across Canada. results from generated general picture services Canada: large majority are currently involved some form; systems predominantly educational clinical purposes; videoconferencing is most often; telephone medical consult still prominent; common factors contributing uptake were f funding, ease access user friendliness; sustainability integration into program incentives participate; leading institutions adopt I CT presence local champion actual availability service; primary challenge implementation overall level resistance change; lesson learned by those need have technical support place order deliver successful service.
