摘要: One of the principal motivations for great experimental interest in high-energy heavy-ion reactions was hope being able to study nuclear matter at higher than equilibrium densities. All low-energy physics has do with or below density, and information obtained from giant monopole resonances about incompressibility (Yo 77) showed that least several tens MeV per nucleon bombarding energy are needed produce more appreciable compression.
