摘要: Solar ultraviolet (UV) radiation has increased in recent years due to ozone layer depletion and Ecuador particular, its geographical position the height of cities. Prolonged sun exposures childhood increase risk causing malignant effects on skin eyes, such as squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma cataracts. For this reason, document describes design a device based UV optical sensors that allows determining existing index. As processing unit there is Raspberry Pi 3B+ embedded board display data physically are LED panels. The storage information done through database managed by MySQL also implemented board. levels index (UVI) presented graphical user interface (GUI) real time, which generating report .csv file. Functional tests were carried out central courtyard two educational units, raise awareness among parents authorities adoption preventive measures avoid possible damage children when carrying outdoor activities.
