摘要: The crossover from a spin-polarized to nonpolarized state as function of pressure ( p) at low temperature (T) has been investigated in MnSi via high-precision measurements the electrical resistivity r and magnetic susceptibility x. In phase p, pc.14.6 kbar!, r}T 2 T expected for Fermi liquid weakly polarized state. nonmagnetic p. pc), vs is consistent with predictions marginal model which nearly critical spin fluctuations long wavelength lead singular quasiparticle interaction. transition second order p*.12 kbar firstorder range p*, pc , where Tc lies below peak x T. variation p both may be understood terms quantum phenomena. @S0163-1829~97!04213-6# I.
