摘要: Abstract Evidence from high resolution electron microscopy of phthalocyanines, aromatic, conjugated and aliphatic hydrocarbons is presented to show that the local initiation structural damage under beam irradiation common all organic crystals. Electron diffraction well characterised specimens has shown sustainable exposure radiation in microscope a function specimen thickness. Encapsulation with carbon, silicon monoxide or layer prolongs lifetime specimen. Halogenated molecules are most resistant greatest effect encapsulating layers. A mechanism for proposed based on bond scission reformation. Halogen additives appear aid reformation reaction thus extend
