摘要: Abstract Objective To review and quantify the dose–response relationship of physical activity (PA) in initially healthy women on cardiovascular disease (CVD) outcomes, especially coronary heart (CHD) stroke, to assess minimum amount PA reduce CVD risk. Data sources Studies were searched MEDLINE (January 1966–March 2003) with additional manual searches. selection included if they (1) provided data women; (2) assessed (exposure) as either a continuous variable or categorical three more levels, (outcome); (3) information relative risks (RRs) 95% confidence intervals. extraction reviewed, abstracted, rated for quality by each author. synthesis Thirty articles met inclusion criteria. When studies combined according RRs showed CHD (RR=1 [reference], 0.78, 0.53, 0.61, respectively; p trend was n =5); stroke 0.73, 0.68, =7); overall 0.82, =6). absolute walking amount, even 1 hour/week walk associated reduced risk outcome. Conclusions Physical among fashion. Inactive would benefit slightly increasing their (e.g., hour per week possibly less) from PA.
